According to the original story, the deity Ananta Narayan was established by constructing a shrine at the ancient Chautali at Kalapur in Srimangal. The stream that formed the sewer that cleared the huge Yajna site during the establishment of the deity takes the shape of a mountain river which is still known as Yajnachhara or Jagachhara. The natural spring created by this jag is called "Yajna Kunder Dhara".
